Dorothy Barber Scholarship Home Incentive Program
Have you thought about moving back to your home community? Have you had your college degree for more than 3 years? Are you in your late twenties, still have some student debt, and are weighing the option of returning home to raise a family? Now is your chance to return home with an added incentive. You could qualify for up to $10,000 in student loan assistance through the Community Foundation of Dickinson County’s Dorothy Barber Scholarship Home Incentive Program (SHIP). This competitive process has an open, rolling deadline.
In addition to the Scholarship Home Incentive Program, Dickinson County is now recognized as a Rural Opportunity Zone. (ROZ) Which means the possibility of further funding. Though their qualifications differ from the Scholarship Home Incentive Program, there are areas of compatibility.
