News DKEDC Kicks Off Driving Dickinson County Campaign with Community Celebration

Community leaders and guests gathered Sept. 27 in the Courtyard Room at The Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene, KS, to celebrate the kick-off of “Driving Dickinson County," the Dickinson County Economic Development Corporation’s new economic development strategy.
Guests learned about the new goals and strategies for the effort that will help retain and attract quality jobs to our county, grow our workforce, and drive the future of our economy.
The campaign co-chairs were introduced, including Dan & Pat Coup, First National Bank of Hope; Matt & Amber Engle, Webb Home Center; Ben & Kristi Meyer, Custom Metal Fabricators, Inc.; Joe & June Nold, Community Activists; Mike Whitehair, Abilene Animal Hospital.
