Our Plan
“Driving Dickinson County” is an aggressive, economic development business expansion and attraction plan initiated by the Dickinson County Economic Development Corporation.
“Driving Dickinson County” was developed with input and support from the private and public sector, including cities within Dickinson County, business leaders, and Dickinson County leadership. The initiative was designed to raise the necessary funds to develop and implement the DKEDC’s increased economic development initiatives over the next five years.
In partnership with local governments, community organizations and businesses, DKEDC is building a cooperative vision for achieving the five-year measurable goals outlined in its economic development initiatives. The key areas of implementation include:
- Business Retention and Expansion
- Business Recruitment and Marketing
- Entrepreneurship
- Community Branding and Marketing
