Lunch and Learn Programs

Lunch and Learn presentations offer community members an opportunity to learn about and discuss topics related to business. Seminars are offered by industry experts who facilitate the presentations and discussions. Attendees bring their own lunch. Events are free to the public.

Leadership Dickinson County

Strong business communities require strong business and community leaders. In conjunction with the K-State Dickinson County Research & Extensions and the Kansas Leadership Center, the Chamber supports the Leadership Dickinson County program as a vital component of building a stronger business community. Leadership Dickinson County cultivates the leadership capacity of program participants through community awareness, problem solving, interpersonal communication, civic involvement, and personal relationships. The program involves classroom training, field trips, panel discussions, and class projects.

Participants are nominated by their employer, who agrees to pay the $200 tuition and allow the participant to attend the 5 class sessions. Classes being in mid-January and are completed at a catered recognition reception in mid-March.
