Responsibilities

Pulls order for shipment in accordance with pick pack slip and customer requirements. Sorts, counts and labels parts that are being shipped. Makes appropriate copies of pps (pick pack slip) and/or put in proper processing tray. Answer Radio calls and load customer pick up. Loads and unloads truck as needed. Pull UPS 1st and pulling counters, wholesale, truck freight and transfers as needed. Pulls at least 90% of parcel orders monthly. Inspects product for damages and notifies supervisor. Operates shrink-wrap machine, card board baler and sealer. Operates box making machine. Operates steel and poly strapping tools when banding parts and pallets. Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks and/or different styles of fork lifts when pulling from racks and/or loading a variety of trucks. Notifies the supervisor of any problem with orders. Follows all departmental procedures and policies. Recommends changes to procedures for supervisor approval. Follows all safety rules and regulations; keeps work environment clean and free of hazard.
